Research peptide vendor

Disguised Alpha

A large California supplier with a searchable certificate library covering 193 products across four named laboratories, certificates that carry a QR code and an access code for checking the document on the lab's own portal, and an offer to reimburse the cost if you send a vial for independent testing. The catalogue it sits on runs well past peptides into nootropics, prescription medicines and banned stimulants.

What they sell

Lyophilised vials, pre-filled pens, capsules, aerosol sprays, topical creams and raw powders across 20 research categories, plus bench equipment up to a benchtop lyophilizer, and branded apparel.

What this actually is

Research use only throughout, with the usual not-for-human-consumption wording. It sits oddly against product names written for the people actually buying, and against a catalogue that includes prescription medicines and a stimulant the FDA has acted against.

Every claim, checked one at a time

Graded by whether we could confirm it ourselves or are only repeating what the vendor states. A vendor's honesty about its own testing is a different question from what a published trial shows, so this is a separate scale from the evidence grades on our guides.

A searchable certificate library covers the catalogue by product and batch

Confirmed

It does, and it's the most complete one we've seen. The portal lists 193 matching products, filters by laboratory, research category, batch, strength or report number, and shows how many reports exist per product. Several products carry three separate reports rather than one.

Where the vendor states this

Certificates can be checked against the issuing laboratory

Confirmed

Each certificate carries a COA number, the issuing lab, received, analysed and issued dates, and a QR code with an access code for the lab's own portal, so you can confirm the document came from the lab and hasn't been altered. Nobody else we review closes that loop.

Where the vendor states this

Testing is spread across four independent laboratories

Confirmed

The library filters by ILS Laboratories, Chromate, Freedom Diagnostics and Gold Standard Analytics. Using four labs rather than one makes a vendor less able to shop for a flattering result, which is a real structural advantage.

Where the vendor states this

Every certificate reports purity and quantity

Unverified

Scope varies by lab and lot, and the portal says so. We downloaded and read one: Freedom Diagnostics, accession 2610190424, lot CHL01, Chlodantane 25mg, received 19 October 2026. Its results table carries identity by LC-MS and mass confirmation, with no purity percentage and no quantity. The ILS example the portal highlights does show each specification against a measured result. So some reports are full and some confirm identity only.

Where the vendor states this

Buyers are offered reimbursement for independent testing

Confirmed

The Verify Your Product programme invites you to send a vial to an approved lab and get the test cost back as store credit. A vendor confident enough to pay for outside testing of its own stock is making a bet it would lose if the stock were bad.

Where the vendor states this

Same-day shipping from a stated US location

Their claim

Irvine, California, with a 2:30pm Pacific weekday cutoff and noon on Saturdays, plus free FedEx 2-day over $250. Naming the warehouse city is more than most vendors do. We have no order to check the cutoff against.

Where the vendor states this

What holds up

  • 193 products covered in a certificate library you can search by batch, strength or report number
  • Certificates verifiable on the issuing lab's own portal by QR code and access code
  • Four separate testing laboratories rather than a single house lab
  • Reimburses the cost if you send a vial for independent testing
  • A named shipping city, Irvine, California, with published cutoff times

What we'd flag

  • Certificate scope varies, and some reports confirm identity only

The one we read reported identity by LC-MS with no purity percentage and no quantity. Identity tells you the right molecule is present. It doesn't tell you how much of it, or what else is in the vial.

  • Liquid DMAA is in the catalogue at $59.99

The FDA has acted against DMAA as a dietary ingredient and linked it to serious cardiovascular events. It sits on the same shelf as the peptides, under the same research-use sentence.

  • Isotretinoin and other prescription medicines are listed

Isotretinoin is a severe teratogen dispensed under a restricted programme in normal medical use. Liquid finasteride, sildenafil, tadalafil and exemestane are also stocked.

  • Product names are written for recreational buyers

A tadalafil aerosol spray sold as GoonMizer, and blends named SuperX and DreamWell, make it hard to read the research-use framing as anything but paperwork.

  • HeliosX pairs clenbuterol with yohimbine

Both raise heart rate and blood pressure, and combining them concentrates that effect in a single product.

Why this certificate system beats everything else we have reviewed

We've been building a ladder through this market, and it keeps going up by one rung at a time.

Inno Peptides has a FAQ entry about certificates and no certificates. Amino Alchemy has a page named after them, an accredited lab we verified, and still no documents. Pacific Edge Labs prints lot codes in its report titles, then tells you to email support to learn which lot is actually in stock. Arcane Peptides marks the current lot on the page, which closed the chain for the first time.

Disguised Alpha goes a step past that. The report carries a QR code and an access code for the issuing lab's portal, so you can confirm the document came from the lab and hasn't been edited on the way to the website.

That answers a question nobody else in this market has even asked. Every other certificate we've looked at is a file hosted by the vendor, and a vendor-hosted PDF is a vendor's word in a different font.

Four labs rather than one matters for the same reason. A vendor using a single lab can quietly stop publishing the reports it doesn't like. Spreading the work across ILS, Chromate, Freedom Diagnostics and Gold Standard makes that harder to do and easier to spot.

And then there is the shelf next to it

All that rigour sits on top of a catalogue with almost no editorial discipline.

Liquid DMAA at $59.99. The FDA has taken enforcement action against DMAA in supplements and connected it to serious cardiovascular events. Isotretinoin at $74.99, a drug so teratogenic that normal medical use runs through a restricted distribution programme. HeliosX, which puts clenbuterol and yohimbine in one bottle.

Then there's the naming. A tadalafil aerosol spray sold as GoonMizer isn't aimed at a laboratory. Neither is SuperX, the Ultimate All-In-One Research Blend.

We say this on most pages in this category and it lands harder here: the research-use sentence is doing the legal work while the product names do the marketing, and the two are pointed in opposite directions.

None of that makes the certificates worse. It does mean the care taken over testing stops at the point where someone decided what to stock.

Common questions

On documentation it's the strongest vendor we've reviewed. A searchable library covers 193 products across four named labs, certificates can be verified on the issuing lab's own portal, and the company offers to pay for independent testing of its own stock. Our reservations are about the catalogue rather than the company.

Sources

Every fact above traces to one of these pages, published by the vendor itself and checked on October 30, 2026. Vendor policy pages change without notice, so if something here looks out of date, it probably is.
