What each product is
Both are oral capsules sold through BioLongevity's supplement sites, separate from its research peptide store. SHRED is on biolongevityhealth.com. SHREDX is on biolongevitysupplements.com. Both carry the "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease" wording used for dietary supplements, and SHREDX comes with daily directions: two capsules in the morning, ideally before fasted cardio.
That framing matters. BioLongevity's peptide vials are sold strictly for laboratory research. These capsules are marketed for people to take.

SHRED vs SHREDX, as listed on October 22, 2026
SLU-PP-332: interesting in mice, untested in people
SLU-PP-332 is an experimental compound that activates estrogen-related receptors, the same pathway exercise switches on in muscle. That's why it gets called an "exercise mimetic."
In mouse studies, it increased endurance and fat burning and reduced weight gain. That's the whole evidence base. There are no published human trials, so there's no tested human dose and no human safety data. Every capsule strength on the market is a guess.
BioLongevity does publish certificates for its SLU-PP-332 products, including SHRED and a related MetaShred formula. That tells you what's in the capsule. It can't tell you what the compound does in a person.
GW-501516 (Cardarine): the reason we'd skip SHREDX
GW-501516 was developed by GlaxoSmithKline as a heart and metabolic drug. Development stopped in 2007 after long-term animal studies found cancers in multiple organs. It has never been approved as a medicine anywhere.
The World Anti-Doping Agency bans it, and has issued an unusual public warning about its health risks. It isn't a lawful dietary supplement ingredient in the US.
SHREDX contains 5,000 mcg (5 mg) per serving. That's in the range used in the short human studies run before development stopped. Those trials were too brief to show the long-term risk that the animal studies found.
We don't think any product marketed for daily use should contain it. That's our view regardless of brand, and it's why SHREDX gets a clear flag here.
AOD-9604: tested, and it didn't work
AOD-9604 is a fragment of human growth hormone that was developed as an obesity drug. It made it to human trials, which is more than most compounds in this space. The larger trial didn't show meaningful weight loss compared with placebo, and development as a weight-loss drug was dropped.
At 100 mcg taken by mouth, there's little reason to expect it to do much in SHREDX.
So which one?
If you're set on trying SLU-PP-332, SHRED is the simpler product: one compound, a choice of strengths, and a certificate. Go in knowing it's untested in people.
We wouldn't buy SHREDX. Its extra ingredients are one compound abandoned over cancer findings and one that failed its weight-loss trials.
